Advances in Healthcare Research (AHR) is represented across scholarly services supporting national journal accreditation, scholarly indexing and discovery, article-level citation visibility, persistent identification, bibliographic metadata registration, international serial identification, and the dissemination of healthcare and health-related scientific research.
AHR seeks to maintain accurate, accessible, consistent, and discoverable information about its published scientific and scholarly work across relevant academic platforms. The journal recognizes that different services perform distinct functions and that the presence of a journal or article record in one service does not automatically establish equivalent coverage, accreditation, indexing, or recognition in another.
Indexing Transparency Principle: AHR distinguishes clearly between national accreditation, national scholarly indexing, research discovery, citation visibility, DOI registration, international journal identification, open scholarly metadata, and formal source-journal indexing in selective databases. Each status is described according to the relevant service's actual function and verifiable coverage.
AHR is nationally accredited at SINTA 5, as identified in its official journal accreditation information through SINTA — Science and Technology Index, Indonesia's national platform for scholarly information, journal accreditation, research visibility, and academic performance indicators.
SINTA provides information concerning accredited Indonesian journals and related scholarly indicators. National accreditation status is distinct from journal inclusion in international selective citation databases. Accreditation classification, coverage information, validity periods, and other official details should be interpreted according to the journal's authoritative SINTA record.
Citation indicators, bibliometric measures, scholarly performance metrics, and other dynamic information displayed by SINTA may change as the platform updates its records. Authors, healthcare researchers, institutions, librarians, and other interested parties should consult the official journal profile for current information.
AHR journal and article information is represented in scholarly services that support research discovery, bibliographic access, national scholarly indexing, citation visibility, and the identification of published healthcare research. The services identified below are described according to their respective functions rather than being treated as interchangeable forms of formal source-journal indexing.
GARUDA — Garba Rujukan Digital: GARUDA provides national scholarly indexing and discovery for research publications in Indonesia. AHR has an identifiable journal record in GARUDA, supporting access to its journal identity, article information, bibliographic records, and the discovery of published healthcare and health-related research through the national platform.
Google Scholar: Google Scholar supports scholarly literature searches, discoverability of published AHR articles, citation visibility, and access to scientific research information. AHR has a Google Scholar profile accessible through its associated national scholarly-information records. Indexing procedures, citation counts, article matching, and profile updates are managed independently by Google Scholar and may change over time.
OpenAlex: OpenAlex provides open scholarly metadata, research discovery, bibliographic connections, and information concerning scholarly sources, works, authors, institutions, and research topics. AHR has an identifiable OpenAlex source record under S4387291257, supporting the discovery and identification of its scholarly publication information within the platform's available coverage.
Dimensions: Dimensions provides research discovery, bibliographic information, connections among scholarly publications, and citation-related analytics. AHR research may be searched through the Dimensions discovery platform where relevant publication records are available. However, the availability of individual records must not be interpreted as confirmation of complete journal-level coverage, a verified Dimensions journal source profile, or formal selective indexing without supporting evidence from the service.
Distinct Service Functions: GARUDA national scholarly indexing, Google Scholar discovery and citation visibility, OpenAlex open scholarly metadata, and Dimensions research discovery perform different information and analytical functions. Their coverage must not be presented as equivalent to national journal accreditation, DOI registration, international serial identification, or selective source-journal indexing.
Coverage & Data Updates: Each external service independently determines its collection methods, record matching, citation information, source classification, document coverage, and update frequency. Differences in record counts, citations, article coverage, bibliometric indicators, or metadata between services do not necessarily indicate an error in the journal's authoritative published scientific record.
Crossref — DOI Registration & Scholarly Metadata: AHR uses DOI prefix 10.60079 for applicable published articles. DOI registration through Crossref supports persistent scholarly identification, citation linking, bibliographic metadata registration, article discovery, and the continuity of published healthcare research records.
Crossref provides persistent-identifier and scholarly-metadata infrastructure. Its services support the identification and linking of published scientific works but do not, by themselves, establish national journal accreditation or formal source-journal indexing in selective international citation databases.
ISSN International Centre — International Journal Identification: The official journal title is Advances in Healthcare Research, abbreviated as AHR, with E-ISSN 2985-9808 and ISSN-L 2985-9808. The journal is published online from Indonesia and is identified internationally through the ISSN system for serial publications.
ISSN identification establishes the bibliographic identity of AHR as a serial publication. It is distinct from scholarly citation performance, journal-accreditation status, DOI registration, research-discovery coverage, or formal inclusion in selective indexing databases.
Identification & Metadata Integrity: AHR seeks to maintain consistency between published article information, DOI registration records, its official E-ISSN, journal-title metadata, author information, and other bibliographic details so that published healthcare research can be identified, cited, and retrieved accurately.
Persistent identification and accurate metadata support scholarly communication, citation reliability, research discoverability, and long-term reference to scientific publications. DOI registration and ISSN identification complement, but do not replace, independent peer review, scientific quality assurance, journal accreditation, or appropriate digital preservation.
AHR reports journal accreditation, identification, indexing, research discovery, citation visibility, DOI registration, open scholarly metadata, and scholarly recognition according to the actual and verifiable function of each relevant external service. The journal aims to avoid misleading equivalence between different forms of scholarly coverage or bibliographic recognition.
Formal Source-Journal Indexing: AHR describes itself as formally indexed, abstracted, or covered by a selective database only when inclusion can be verified through that database's official journal, source, title, or coverage record. The scope, dates, and conditions of confirmed coverage should be accurately represented where applicable.
Applications, proposed submissions, ongoing evaluations, initial registration, individual article discoverability, citation records, references from indexed publications, scholarly metadata presence, or unverified third-party statements do not constitute confirmation that AHR is formally indexed as a source journal in a selective database.
AHR does not claim confirmed source-journal indexing in Scopus, Web of Science, DOAJ, or another selective indexing or recognition service unless the corresponding inclusion and relevant coverage have been verified directly through the official service. Planned applications or editorial objectives must not be represented as completed achievements.
Scopus Citedness vs. Scopus Source Indexing: Individual AHR articles may be cited in publications that are themselves indexed in Scopus. Such citedness can contribute to the scholarly visibility of AHR research. However, citations appearing in Scopus-indexed publications do not establish that AHR is indexed as a source journal in Scopus. Formal source coverage must be verified through the official Scopus Sources records.
Article Discovery vs. Journal Coverage: The appearance of individual AHR publications in Google Scholar, GARUDA, OpenAlex, Dimensions, Crossref, or other scholarly-information systems should be interpreted according to the specific coverage and function of the service. An individual discoverable record does not automatically establish comprehensive journal coverage, a particular accreditation level, or formal selective indexing.
Citation counts, database coverage, bibliometric indicators, journal performance measures, and related scholarly metrics are dynamic and may change as external platforms update their records. A temporary citation count, discovery record, or article-level citation does not constitute a permanent journal-accreditation or formal indexing status.
AHR seeks to maintain complete, accurate, consistent, transparent, and traceable scientific and scholarly metadata across its official Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform, published articles, authoritative Versions of Record, DOI registration records, and relevant scholarly indexing and discovery services.
Authorship & Institutional Metadata: Essential information includes accurate author names and author order, institutional affiliations, corresponding-author information, ORCID identifiers where applicable, and other appropriate authorship or contributor information necessary for reliable attribution and scientific identification.
Article & Publication Metadata: Scholarly records should accurately identify article titles, abstracts, keywords, accepted manuscript types, publication language, actual publication dates, publication years, annual volumes, numbered issues, DOI information, applicable article identifiers, and other bibliographic details required for accurate discovery and citation.
Research & Rights Metadata: Where applicable, published metadata may include funding information, acknowledgements, CRediT contributions where reported, copyright information, Open Access license details, research-ethics statements, clinical trial registration information where appropriate, and other suitable publication declarations required for transparent scientific communication.
Version of Record Consistency: The official published Version of Record serves as the authoritative reference for scientific article content and formal publication information. Essential bibliographic metadata should remain consistent with the published article, OJS article page, DOI registration record, and other relevant scholarly systems.
Healthcare Research Information: Where scientifically relevant and appropriate, article metadata should accurately reflect the research subject, clinical or healthcare context, research design, study type, and other descriptors useful for responsible scientific discovery. Confidential patient information, identifiable participant data, and other restricted healthcare records must not be disclosed through publicly accessible publication metadata.
External Metadata Differences: Third-party services may independently harvest, classify, transform, merge, match, or update bibliographic records. Temporary differences may therefore occur between AHR's authoritative publication information and records maintained by external platforms. A difference in third-party records does not independently authorize changes to the journal's valid published scholarly record.
Where a material metadata discrepancy is identified, AHR may initiate an appropriate correction through its editorial and technical procedures or request an update from the relevant external service when possible. Corrections should preserve the authenticity, traceability, and integrity of article records, DOI information, publication dates, and established scholarly citations.
AHR continues to strengthen its scientific and scholarly publishing practices, editorial governance, international academic participation, independent peer-review procedures, healthcare research-integrity safeguards, publication ethics, accurate DOI and metadata registration, responsible Open Access publishing, digital preservation arrangements, and the discoverability of published healthcare research.
The development of scholarly indexing and recognition is treated as an ongoing process of strengthening journal quality, scientific credibility, transparency, discoverability, and compliance with relevant service requirements. Consideration of additional recognized indexing, abstracting, accreditation, or discovery services does not independently establish journal inclusion or coverage.
When AHR obtains confirmed journal-level coverage, formal recognition, or an appropriately verified change in its status with an external service, the journal may update its public information to reflect the actual status, applicable coverage, and relevant official record. Planned applications, preliminary evaluations, anticipated recognition, and unverified third-party claims must not be presented as completed indexing achievements.
The current AHR Indexing, Discovery & Recognition framework reflects the journal's presently stated accreditation, scholarly-discovery, identification, metadata, and indexing-transparency policies. Changes to these policies or the journal's scientific-publishing practices should be applied prospectively, except where legitimate corrections are required to address an established error.
External scholarly services may retain historical descriptions, article records, journal classifications, disciplinary categories, publication-frequency information, indexing details, or other metadata that were created or harvested under earlier journal policies or technical arrangements. Such records must be assessed according to their provenance, date, and actual bibliographic purpose.
Historical third-party descriptions do not automatically redefine the journal's current Aims & Scope, accepted manuscript types, publication-frequency policy, editorial governance, peer-review procedures, or other current requirements. Where an external description is materially inaccurate or obsolete, AHR may request an appropriate update through the relevant service.
Scholarly Record Protection: Previously published articles, actual publication dates, annual volume and numbered-issue assignments, author information, DOI records, bibliographic metadata, licensing information, and valid historical citations remain part of the journal's permanent scientific and scholarly record. Current indexing or metadata policies do not authorize retrospective renumbering, artificial date changes, or undocumented alterations of valid published information.
Accurate scholarly metadata, persistent identification, and transparent indexing statements support the traceability of published healthcare research and the reliability of the scientific publication record. Genuine errors should be corrected through appropriate documented editorial and technical procedures without obscuring established scholarly history.
Questions concerning AHR national accreditation, DOI registration, ISSN information, scholarly indexing and discovery, citation visibility, metadata discrepancies, journal identifiers, or potentially inaccurate external scholarly records may be directed to the official AHR Editorial Office.
