Journal Identity & Visibility

AMAR administers Article Processing Charges (APCs) only after a manuscript has received final scientific-editorial acceptance. Submission, screening, peer review, and revision do not require payment.

APC Rates and Waivers

Standard APC	IDR 500,000 per accepted manuscript. Applicable when at least one author has an institutional affiliation in Indonesia.
Full APC Waiver	IDR 0. Applicable when all authors are affiliated exclusively with institutions outside Indonesia, subject to Editorial Office verification.
Reviewer Recognition	Eligible reviewers may receive a 10% discount on an otherwise payable APC, subject to verification under journal policy.

APC eligibility is determined by institutional affiliation, not nationality, citizenship, residence, or country of birth.

Payment Procedure and Editorial Independence

An official invoice is issued only after final scientific-editorial acceptance.
Authors must follow the authorized payment instructions stated in the official invoice.
Accepted manuscripts subject to an APC proceed to production after payment confirmation. Verified full waivers follow the applicable administrative process.
Payment, discounts, or waiver status do not affect peer review, editorial decisions, or scientific standards.
A Letter of Acceptance, where issued, must reflect a genuine final acceptance decision and does not replace scientific evaluation.

Other Fees, Withdrawal and Refunds

AMAR does not impose separate mandatory submission, peer-review, page, color-figure, language-editing, or withdrawal fees.

Authors seeking withdrawal must submit a formal request while the manuscript remains under editorial consideration. The manuscript should not be submitted elsewhere until the journal confirms withdrawal.

After payment and commencement of substantive production services, APCs are normally non-refundable. Duplicate payments, overpayments, payment errors, or journal-attributable problems preventing publication are considered individually according to the circumstances and supporting evidence.

Payment Security and Contact

Authors should not transfer funds in response to unofficial requests, unauthorized intermediaries, or promises of guaranteed acceptance. Payment is required only after formal acceptance and issuance of an authorized invoice.
