Advances in Economics & Financial Studies (AEFS) recognizes digital preservation as an important component of responsible scholarly publishing. The journal seeks to maintain the accessibility, integrity, discoverability, and continuity of its published scholarly record over time.

Published articles, bibliographic information, DOI metadata, issue information, and associated journal records are maintained through the journal's Open Journal Systems (OJS) publishing environment and supporting scholarly metadata infrastructure.

AEFS seeks to preserve:

• The final published Version of Record of each article;
• Article titles, abstracts, keywords, authorship, and affiliation metadata;
• Volume, issue, publication date, and citation information;
• DOI and other persistent bibliographic identifiers where applicable;
• References and citation-related metadata;
• Supplementary files made formally available with published articles;
• Corrections, retractions, Expressions of Concern, or other formal post-publication notices;
• The historical sequence of the journal's published volumes and issues.

The formally published article on the AEFS platform constitutes the journal's authoritative Version of Record.

The Version of Record includes the final scholarly content together with its official publication metadata. Subsequent corrections or other post-publication amendments are handled through formal journal procedures rather than by silently replacing or altering the scholarly record.

Where a correction, retraction, Expression of Concern, or other formal notice is issued, AEFS seeks to maintain appropriate links between the original publication record and the relevant post-publication notice.

AEFS uses the DOI prefix 10.60079 for applicable published content. DOI registration supports persistent identification and contributes to the continued discoverability of the scholarly record even when the location of journal content changes.

Bibliographic metadata associated with published articles may also be made discoverable through scholarly metadata, indexing, citation, and discovery services used by the journal.

AEFS operates through Open Journal Systems (OJS), which is used to manage manuscript workflows, publication records, journal issues, article metadata, and published files.

The publisher is responsible for maintaining the journal platform and associated publishing records required for the continuing operation and accessibility of AEFS.

AEFS seeks to preserve the integrity of the scholarly record after publication. Published articles should not be removed or substantially altered merely because authors later wish to revise, replace, or withdraw their work.

Where post-publication action is necessary, the journal uses appropriate mechanisms such as corrections, retractions, or Expressions of Concern in accordance with its Publication Ethics policies.

The journal's preservation policy is intended to support continued availability of published scholarly content in the event of changes to journal administration, hosting infrastructure, publishing technology, or website configuration.

Where platform migration becomes necessary, AEFS seeks to preserve article files, DOI information, article metadata, volume and issue information, and other essential bibliographic records so that the continuity of the published scholarly record can be maintained.

AEFS does not state participation in a third-party preservation network unless that participation has been formally established and can be publicly verified.

This policy may therefore be updated as the journal's preservation infrastructure develops.

Authors retain copyright and may share the formally published Version of Record through institutional repositories, personal academic webpages, research profiles, or other appropriate scholarly repositories, provided that appropriate attribution and bibliographic information are maintained.

Where possible, deposited copies should include the article DOI or a link to the official AEFS Version of Record.
