As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The manuscript has not been previously published and is not currently under consideration by another journal. The submission is original and complies with the AEFS Policies & Publication Ethics.
  • The manuscript is submitted as one of the two article types accepted by AEFS: Research Paper or Literature Review Paper, and its content is relevant to the current AEFS Aims & Scope.
  • The manuscript has been prepared using the official AEFS Manuscript Template and complies with the applicable requirements for title, abstract, keywords, manuscript structure, formatting, tables, figures, references, and academic writing.
  • The submission includes two separate files for double-anonymous peer review: (1) a Blinded Manuscript containing no author-identifying information, and (2) a completed Title Page & Author Information Form containing the required author and publication information.
  • The corresponding author has provided a valid ORCID identifier in the Title Page. Authorship, CRediT contributions, funding, conflicts of interest, ethics and consent information, data availability, acknowledgements, AI-assisted technology disclosure, permissions, and other applicable declarations have been completed accurately in the Title Page.
  • I have read and understood the AEFS policies concerning peer review, publication ethics, copyright and CC BY 4.0 licensing, Article Processing Charges, and publication procedures. I understand that APC administration or waiver verification occurs only after final acceptance and does not influence peer review or editorial decisions.

Authors must prepare and submit manuscripts in accordance with the current AEFS For Authors requirements and the official Advances in Research harmonized manuscript system.

AEFS accepts only two manuscript types:
Research Paper
Literature Review Paper

For double-anonymous peer review, authors must upload two separate files:

  1. Blinded Manuscript — containing no author names, affiliations, email addresses, acknowledgements, identifying document properties, or other information that could reasonably reveal author identity.

  2. Title Page — containing complete author and affiliation information, corresponding-author details, ORCID for the corresponding author, CRediT author contributions, funding information, conflict-of-interest declaration, acknowledgements where applicable, ethics/consent/authorization information where applicable, generative-AI disclosure where applicable, and other required publication declarations.

The manuscript should follow the official AEFS template and current journal requirements, including the applicable manuscript structure, academic English, APA 7th edition referencing, accurate and verifiable citations, and appropriate research-integrity and publication-ethics standards.

Authors should review the current AEFS Aims & Scope, For Authors, and Policies & Publication Ethics before submission.

Formal manuscript submission must be completed through the AEFS Online Journal System. Submission does not guarantee external peer review or publication.
