Advances in Human Resource Management Research (AHRMR) publishes one annual volume comprising three numbered issues.
Under the current publication model, each annual volume consists of:
For current and future publication, articles are assigned to the applicable numbered issue within the annual publication cycle. The month ranges identify the journal's regular issue periods while continuous publication permits eligible articles to be published progressively within the active issue once the required publication workflow has been completed.
Beginning on 1 September 2026, AHRMR applies a continuous-publication model within the active numbered issue.
Under this model, an article that has completed the required editorial and publication processes does not need to wait until all other articles assigned to the same issue have completed production.
Continuous publication does not alter the journal's peer-review, editorial-decision, research-integrity, authorship, publication-ethics, or quality-control requirements. Every manuscript must complete the applicable editorial workflow and receive final editorial acceptance before entering the journal's post-acceptance publication process.
Where an Article Processing Charge (APC) or waiver applies, APC or waiver administration occurs only after final editorial acceptance and remains administratively separate from editorial evaluation and peer-review decisions. Payment or waiver status does not determine whether a manuscript is accepted.
Continuous publication is intended to reduce unnecessary delay between completion of the required publication workflow and formal online publication while preserving AHRMR's annual volume-and-issue structure.
During each publication period, AHRMR identifies the applicable active or current numbered issue to which eligible articles may be assigned.
Articles published through continuous publication become formally available when their final Version of Record is released on the journal website. They may then be cited using their complete bibliographic information and DOI.
The Version of Record should contain the final verified publication metadata, including the appropriate journal title, volume, issue, publication year, publication date, DOI, author information, license information, and other applicable bibliographic details.
When an issue has completed its publication period, it remains permanently available as part of the journal archive. The subsequent numbered issue then becomes the active issue in accordance with the journal's declared publication schedule.
The current AHRMR publication-frequency and continuous-publication policy applies prospectively beginning 1 September 2026.
Previously published volumes, issues, articles, publication dates, pagination, DOIs, issue titles, and other bibliographic information remain part of AHRMR's permanent historical scholarly record.
The adoption of the current publication model does not retrospectively change the publication date, volume, issue, article identity, pagination, DOI, or other bibliographic information of content published under earlier journal practices.
Earlier issues may therefore retain publication conventions, date descriptions, issue titles, or month-range labels used by AHRMR at the time of publication. Historical records are not rewritten merely to make them resemble the journal's current publication model.
AHRMR seeks to maintain consistent bibliographic metadata across the journal website, published article files, DOI records, and relevant indexing, discovery, repository, library, and metadata services.
For articles published under the continuous-publication model, the publication date should represent the date on which the Version of Record is formally released on the AHRMR website.
Publication dates, volume numbers, issue numbers, or other bibliographic elements should not be retrospectively altered merely to make an issue or article appear to conform to a preferred publication schedule.
Where a genuine metadata error is identified after publication, the journal may correct the relevant metadata while preserving the integrity, history, and traceability of the scholarly record. Where necessary, corresponding DOI or related metadata should also be updated appropriately.
AHRMR is committed to maintaining a stable, transparent, and traceable publication record and to publishing scholarly content according to its declared frequency.
The journal does not artificially alter historical publication dates, issue information, or bibliographic metadata to create the appearance of publication regularity.
Publication information displayed on the journal website should correspond to the journal's actual editorial, production, and scholarly record.
Once an article has been formally published, its Version of Record forms part of the permanent scholarly publication record.
Substantive post-publication changes should not be made through silent replacement of the published article.
Where a published article requires substantive correction, clarification, an Expression of Concern, retraction, or another formal post-publication action, AHRMR applies the appropriate transparent mechanism in accordance with its Publication Ethics and scholarly-record policies.
AHRMR maintains an online archive of its published volumes, issues, and articles. The archive provides readers with access to the journal's historical publication record and the bibliographic information associated with published content.
Readers should cite the bibliographic information, publication date, and DOI displayed for the applicable Version of Record.
