Advances in Human Resource Management Research (AHRMR) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by Yayasan Pendidikan Bukhari Dwi Muslim. The journal advances theory, evidence, and practice across the fields explicitly included in its current Aims & Scope and welcomes rigorous scholarship from diverse institutional, sectoral, national, and international contexts.
AHRMR has particular interest in Asia-Pacific and emerging-economy contexts while remaining open to high-quality international, comparative, cross-cultural, and globally relevant scholarship from all regions.
The journal title is Advances in Human Resource Management Research, abbreviated as AHRMR. Its E-ISSN and ISSN-L are 2985-7570, and articles are registered under the DOI prefix 10.60079. AHRMR is published online in English and is currently accredited at SINTA 2.
AHRMR covers human resource management, organizational behavior, leadership, management and organizational development, employment and workforce studies, labor-related research, digital HRM, artificial intelligence and technology, sustainability and ESG, human capital, governance, accounting, finance, taxation, auditing, marketing and consumer research, entrepreneurship, innovation, business performance, economics, trade, regional development, technology and engineering management, health management, and other fields explicitly stated in the current AHRMR Aims & Scope.
All fields expressly included in the AHRMR Aims & Scope form part of the journal's main scholarly scope. Their order of presentation does not indicate priority, hierarchy, or secondary status. A manuscript does not need to add an HRM, employee, workforce, or workplace variable merely to establish eligibility when its subject already falls within a stated scope area.
Studies may address one field or combine multiple fields covered by AHRMR. Manuscripts are evaluated according to the clarity and relevance of the research or review problem, scholarly grounding, methodological or review-methodological rigor, research integrity, quality of analysis or synthesis, relevance to the journal's stated scope, and contribution to knowledge or practice. Cross-disciplinary research is welcome but is not required.
AHRMR accepts two manuscript types only: Research Paper and Literature Review Paper. Research Papers present original research using defensible methods appropriate to the research question, while Literature Review Papers provide rigorous and transparent scholarly synthesis. Individual research designs, statistical procedures, analytical techniques, datasets, or review approaches do not constitute separate manuscript types.
AHRMR applies double-anonymous peer review. Manuscripts that pass editorial screening are normally evaluated by at least two independent reviewers with relevant scholarly expertise. Reviewer recommendations are advisory, and final scientific-editorial responsibility remains with the responsible academic editor and, where applicable, the Editor-in-Chief.
Editorial decisions are based on scholarly merit, relevance, originality, methodological or review-methodological quality, research integrity, peer-review evidence, author responses, and journal policies. Publisher ownership, APC payment, waiver status, sponsorship, or other financial considerations do not determine scientific-editorial decisions.
AHRMR provides immediate Open Access to published articles. Authors retain copyright in their work, and articles are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), allowing lawful reuse, distribution, and adaptation with appropriate attribution.
For an accepted manuscript with at least one author institutionally affiliated in Indonesia, the current AHRMR APC is IDR 5,000,000. Manuscripts whose authors are all institutionally affiliated exclusively outside Indonesia receive a full APC waiver / IDR 0. APC eligibility is based on institutional affiliation rather than nationality, citizenship, or residence.
No APC is payable during submission, editorial screening, peer review, revision, or other pre-acceptance stages. APC or waiver administration begins only after final editorial acceptance and remains separate from scientific-editorial decision-making.
AHRMR publishes one volume per calendar year with exactly three regular numbered issues. Beginning with Volume 5 (2027), the standardized issue periods are No. 1 January–April, No. 2 May–August, and No. 3 September–December.
Continuous publication applies prospectively from 1 September 2026, allowing publication-ready articles to be released within the applicable active issue after the required editorial, post-acceptance, production, and metadata stages have been completed. Historical Volume 4 (2026) and earlier records retain their original publication dates and bibliographic metadata.
AHRMR is owned and published by Yayasan Pendidikan Bukhari Dwi Muslim, Jln. Perintis Kemerdekaan, Puri Asri VII/A7, Makassar, Sulawesi Selatan, Indonesia 90245.
