Advances in Human Resource Management Research (AHRMR) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal dedicated to advancing theory, evidence, and practice concerning human resource management, people management, employment, work, organizational behavior, leadership, and workforce development.
AHRMR provides a scholarly forum for theoretically grounded, methodologically rigorous, and ethically conducted research concerning people, work, employment, leadership, human capital, workforce systems, and organizations.
The journal has a particular interest in research from the Asia-Pacific region and emerging economies while welcoming high-quality scholarly contributions from all geographical regions. International, comparative, cross-cultural, and contextually grounded research is encouraged where it contributes meaningfully to the advancement of the journal's field.
Advances in Human Resource Management Research is published under the institutional and publishing responsibility of Yayasan Pendidikan Bukhari Dwi Muslim, Indonesia.
The publisher supports the administrative, technical, digital-publishing, website, production, and operational infrastructure required for the journal.
Academic editorial decisions remain governed by the journal's Editor-in-Chief and responsible academic editors in accordance with the Aims & Scope, independent peer-review procedures, publication ethics, research-integrity standards, and editorial-independence policies.
AHRMR maintains editorial independence in the evaluation and selection of scholarly content. The Editor-in-Chief and responsible academic editors exercise academic editorial authority in accordance with the journal's Aims & Scope, peer-review policy, publication ethics, and scholarly standards.
Decisions concerning editorial screening, external peer review, revision, acceptance, or rejection are based on scholarly considerations, including scope relevance, originality, theoretical contribution, methodological rigor, research integrity, peer-review evidence, and author responses.
Where an editor has a relevant conflict of interest, including authorship, co-authorship, close collaboration, or another significant relationship with a submitted manuscript, responsibility for that manuscript must be assigned to another qualified academic editor who does not have the relevant conflict.
AHRMR provides immediate open access to published articles. Readers may access and download published scholarly content without subscription or payment barriers.
Authors retain copyright in their published articles. Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0) ↗.
The license permits sharing, redistribution, adaptation, and reuse of published material, including for commercial purposes, provided appropriate attribution is given, the applicable license is identified, and changes are indicated where required.
AHRMR publishes one annual volume comprising three numbered issues.
Beginning on 1 September 2026, AHRMR applies continuous publication within the active issue. Under this model, an accepted article may be published online once the required editorial, copyediting, proofreading, production, metadata, and publication processes have been completed.
The continuous-publication model does not retrospectively alter the journal's previously published volumes, issues, publication dates, or article records. Historical publications remain part of the journal's permanent scholarly record.
Manuscripts submitted to AHRMR are subject to initial editorial screening before being considered for external peer review.
Manuscripts that proceed to external review normally undergo double-anonymous peer review by at least two independent reviewers with expertise relevant to the submitted research.
Reviewer recommendations are advisory. The responsible academic editor evaluates the manuscript, review reports, author responses, revisions, research-integrity considerations, and applicable journal policies. The Editor-in-Chief retains overall responsibility for the journal's academic editorial governance.
AHRMR maintains a publicly available Article Processing Charge (APC) Policy describing applicable publication charges, waiver eligibility, payment procedures, refund provisions, and related administrative arrangements.
Authors are not required to make an APC payment during submission, peer review, or revision. Payment or waiver status does not influence reviewer selection, peer-review recommendations, or academic editorial decisions.
