Advances in Human Resource Management Research (AHRMR) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal published by Yayasan Pendidikan Bukhari Dwi Muslim.
AHRMR is dedicated to advancing theory, evidence, and practice concerning human resource management, people management, employment, work, organizational behavior, leadership, workforce development, and closely related workplace phenomena.
The journal publishes rigorous Research Papers and Literature Review Papers from diverse organizational and geographical settings. AHRMR has a particular interest in Asia-Pacific and emerging-economy contexts while welcoming high-quality international, comparative, cross-cultural, and contextually grounded scholarship from all regions.
AHRMR publishes scholarship addressing human resource management, organizational behavior and employee outcomes, leadership, management and organizational development, employment and workforce studies, labor-related issues, digital HRM and artificial intelligence, sustainable and green HRM, ESG and human capital, innovation, and human capabilities.
Interdisciplinary research is welcomed when its central research problem and scholarly contribution maintain a substantive connection to people, work, employment, workforce, human capital, leadership, HRM, organizational behavior, or another clearly workplace-related phenomenon.
AHRMR is published by Yayasan Pendidikan Bukhari Dwi Muslim, Indonesia.
The publisher provides institutional, administrative, technological, preservation, dissemination, and production support for the journal while maintaining the independence of academic editorial decision-making.
Academic editorial decisions are made on the basis of scholarly relevance, originality, methodological quality, research integrity, peer-review evidence, and compliance with journal policies.
Editorial decisions are independent of publication charges, commercial considerations, institutional relationships, sponsorship, advertising, or other non-academic interests. Reviewer recommendations are advisory, and final academic responsibility remains with the responsible academic editor and, where applicable, the Editor-in-Chief.
AHRMR applies double-anonymous peer review. Manuscripts proceeding to external review are normally evaluated by at least two independent reviewers with relevant scholarly expertise.
Peer review is intended to support rigorous, ethical, independent, and constructive scholarly evaluation. Manuscripts remain subject to editorial screening, research-integrity checks, peer review, revision where required, editorial verification, copyediting, production quality control, and final publication checks.
AHRMR provides immediate open access to published articles. No subscription or access fee is required to read the journal's published scholarly content.
Authors retain copyright in their published articles.
Published articles are made available under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), permitting sharing and adaptation for lawful purposes, including commercial use, provided that appropriate attribution is given, the original publication is identified, a link to the license is provided, and any changes are indicated.
The standard Article Processing Charge for an accepted AHRMR manuscript is IDR 2,500,000 where at least one author is affiliated with an institution in Indonesia.
Where all authors are exclusively affiliated with institutions outside Indonesia, the manuscript qualifies for a full APC waiver (IDR 0). The waiver is determined by institutional affiliation rather than nationality or residence.
The current AHRMR Aims & Scope, harmonized manuscript system, and associated editorial policies apply prospectively to new manuscripts submitted on or after 1 September 2026.
Previously published articles remain part of the journal's permanent historical scholarly record and are not retrospectively reclassified, removed, or altered solely because AHRMR has subsequently refined its scope, editorial structure, manuscript requirements, or publication policies.
