Archiving & Digital Preservation

Advances in Human Resource Management Research (AHRMR) is committed to supporting the long-term accessibility, integrity, traceability and continuity of its published scholarly record. The current harmonized preservation framework applies prospectively from 1 September 2026.

Preservation Scope

AHRMR's preservation framework covers published Versions of Record, annual volumes and numbered issues, article files, bibliographic metadata, DOI information, applicable supplementary materials, journal policies and linked correction, Expression of Concern or retraction notices.

Publication records should remain identifiable and traceable through website updates, OJS upgrades, server migrations, domain changes, hosting transitions, organizational changes and publisher transfers. Valid historical publication dates, issue assignments, pagination, authorship and other bibliographic information must not be retrospectively altered merely to match later policies.

If the journal ceases publication or transfers publishing operations, reasonable measures should be taken to maintain access to previously published content through the existing platform, a successor platform, a repository, a verified preservation service or another appropriate scholarly-access mechanism.

Backup and Recovery

The publisher, Yayasan Pendidikan Bukhari Dwi Muslim, and authorized technical personnel are responsible for planning the recoverability of essential OJS databases and configurations, published article and issue files, bibliographic records, journal policies and post-publication notices. Retained manuscript and supplementary files should be included where appropriate.

Backup and restoration arrangements should be reviewed before major OJS upgrades, migrations and substantial infrastructure changes. Restoration following an incident should preserve legitimate publication dates, author information, article identities, issue assignments, licensing information, DOI consistency and documented changes to the scholarly record.

This statement describes preservation responsibilities and does not certify a particular backup frequency or independently audited recovery arrangement.

External Preservation Status

AHRMR does not claim active preservation coverage or deposited content in PKP Preservation Network, LOCKSS, CLOCKSS, Portico or another external digital preservation service unless participation and content preservation have been independently verified.

Registration, plugin installation, account creation, application, initial configuration, planned participation, DOI registration or indexing alone does not establish that journal articles are actively preserved by an independent external service.

The journal may adopt an appropriate external mechanism when eligibility, technical compatibility, activation, content deposit and operational preservation status have been confirmed. The Editorial Office, publisher and technical personnel should periodically review the accuracy of public preservation information and update it when a verifiable arrangement and its applicable coverage are confirmed.

Version Integrity and Self-Archiving

Published Versions of Record must not be silently replaced or substantively altered. Material corrections, Expressions of Concern and retractions should be documented and linked to the original publication. Genuine metadata errors may be corrected transparently while preserving traceability.

AHRMR uses DOI prefix 10.60079. Following changes to domains, platforms or article URLs, DOI destinations and relevant metadata should be updated. Titles, authorship, publication dates, volume, issue, DOI and licensing information should remain consistent across the journal website, published article and DOI records.

Authors may self-archive submitted manuscripts, accepted manuscripts and published Versions of Record without a journal-imposed embargo in appropriate institutional, disciplinary, funder-designated, personal academic or other scholarly repositories, subject to confidentiality, third-party rights and accurate version identification.

When sharing the Version of Record, include the complete citation, DOI or official journal URL and applicable CC BY 4.0 license information. The authoritative copyright, licensing and post-publication policies appear on the Policies & Publication Ethics page.

Access and Preservation Queries

Readers may report inaccessible publication files, broken DOI links, incorrect bibliographic metadata, migration problems or other concerns affecting access and the integrity of the scholarly record to the Managing Editor through the Editorial Office.
