Information Collected and Its Purpose

Depending on the individual's role, collected information may include names, email addresses, affiliations, countries, ORCID identifiers, academic profiles, reviewer interests, user-account information, manuscripts, Title Pages, authorship and CRediT declarations, funding, conflicts of interest, ethics and consent information, permissions, AI disclosures, data availability statements, supplementary files, peer-review reports, editorial correspondence, decisions and publication metadata.

Information is used for submission, screening, peer review, revision, production, author communication, DOI and metadata administration, indexing, preservation, research-integrity procedures and legitimate journal administration. APC or waiver status, invoices and payment records may be processed after final editorial acceptance; financial administration remains separate from scientific evaluation.

The platform may process browser or device details, access times, session and authentication information, and server logs for operation, security and troubleshooting.

Confidentiality and Public Disclosure

Unpublished manuscripts, separate Title Pages, reviewer identities, confidential review reports, private correspondence, non-public author information and restricted supporting materials are handled through appropriate access controls and authorized editorial procedures consistent with double-anonymous peer review. Access is limited according to legitimate editorial, production or technical responsibilities.

Confidential information must not be disclosed or used for unauthorized personal, professional, commercial, competitive or research purposes, or uploaded to external AI systems where confidentiality and appropriate data protection cannot be assured.

Published article metadata may include author names, affiliations, ORCID identifiers, titles, abstracts, keywords, CRediT contributions, funding, DOI information, publication dates, bibliographic records and licensing statements. Relevant public metadata may be distributed to DOI, indexing, discovery, repository, library and other scholarly services. Private contact details, payment records and confidential editorial documents are not automatically made public through article publication.

Data Retention, External Services and Individual Rights

Information may be retained where necessary for journal operations, security, legal or contractual obligations, research integrity, dispute resolution, recordkeeping and preservation of the scholarly record.

Authorized hosting, publishing and technical service providers may process relevant information for their assigned functions. External DOI, ORCID, indexing, discovery and repository services operate under their respective privacy arrangements; this statement does not govern unrelated external services or establish active external preservation coverage.

AHRMR does not sell personal information to advertisers, data brokers or unrelated third parties for commercial marketing purposes.

AHRMR and its publisher, Yayasan Pendidikan Bukhari Dwi Muslim, seek to apply reasonable administrative and technical safeguards. No online platform can guarantee absolute security; users should protect account credentials and report suspected unauthorized access.

Requests concerning account information, access, correction, confidentiality or other reasonable privacy concerns may be addressed to the Editorial Office. Requests are considered subject to applicable retention, security and publication-integrity requirements. Information forming part of the published scholarly record may require a transparent correction or notice rather than deletion.
