AJEB maintains a clear separation between publisher responsibilities, academic editorial responsibilities, peer-review activities, financial administration, and technical or production support to promote transparency, accountability, research integrity, and responsible scholarly publishing.

Academic editorial management is led by the Editor-in-Chief with support from the Managing Editor and qualified Academic Editors. The Editorial Team evaluates manuscript suitability, coordinates peer review, assesses revisions, applies editorial policies, and makes scholarly publication decisions.

Editorial responsibilities are exercised according to AJEB's Aims & Scope, peer-review procedures, publication ethics, conflict-of-interest requirements, research-integrity standards, and principles of scholarly independence.

Editorial decisions are based on originality, scholarly merit, methodological rigor, relevance to AJEB's scope, ethical compliance, research integrity, peer-review evidence, quality of presentation, and overall scholarly contribution.

Article Processing Charges, institutional relationships, sponsorship, partnerships, advertising, or other financial considerations must not influence editorial evaluation or publication decisions.

AJEB applies a double-anonymous peer-review process. Manuscripts proceeding to external peer review are evaluated by independent reviewers selected according to scholarly expertise, methodological competence, independence, availability, and conflict-of-interest considerations.

Reviewers provide scholarly assessments and recommendations, while final editorial responsibility remains with the authorized editor handling the manuscript.

Editors, reviewers, authors, and other participants in the publication process are expected to disclose relevant conflicts of interest that could reasonably influence, or appear to influence, professional judgment.

Where an editor has a personal, professional, institutional, financial, collaborative, or other significant conflict involving a manuscript, the manuscript should be reassigned to another suitably qualified and independent editor.

Administrative, copyediting, indexing, production, metadata, communication, and OJS technical functions support AJEB's journal operations but remain distinct from independent academic editorial decision-making.
