Advances in Business & Industrial Marketing Research (ABIM) is an open-access journal. An Article Processing Charge (APC) applies only to accepted manuscripts that meet the affiliation criteria described below.

No APC is payable during submission, editorial screening, peer review, revision, or before the manuscript receives a final acceptance decision.

APC revenue supports journal operations including manuscript management, editorial administration, copyediting, production, DOI-related services, website maintenance, metadata preparation, archiving, and dissemination.

If at least one author is affiliated with an institution in Indonesia, the standard APC is IDR 1,000,000 per accepted manuscript.

A full APC waiver applies when all authors are affiliated exclusively with institutions outside Indonesia. Eligible manuscripts therefore have an APC of IDR 0.

Waiver eligibility is determined by institutional affiliation, not nationality, citizenship, country of birth, or residence.

Affiliation information may be verified by the Editorial Office before production. Eligible manuscripts receive the full waiver automatically; no separate waiver application is required.

Authors are not required to purchase language editing, proofreading, formatting, consulting, or other commercial services as a condition of submission, peer review, editorial consideration, or acceptance.

The APC process is administratively separated from scholarly evaluation. Manuscripts complete the academic editorial and peer-review process before any APC becomes payable.

Authors are not required to make any APC payment during submission, editorial screening, peer review, or revision.

After final acceptance, the Editorial Office verifies the applicable APC or waiver status.

For manuscripts subject to the APC, an official invoice containing the amount and authorized payment instructions is issued after final acceptance.

Copyediting and production proceed after payment verification for APC-bearing manuscripts, or after waiver verification for manuscripts eligible for the full waiver.

APC administration and waiver verification are separate from the journal's academic decision-making process.

The Editor-in-Chief, Academic Editors, and reviewers evaluate manuscripts independently of authors' ability to pay, APC status, waiver eligibility, nationality, citizenship, or institutional location.

The same Aims & Scope, editorial screening, peer-review, research-integrity, and publication criteria apply to all manuscripts regardless of APC or waiver status.

Authors may request withdrawal of a manuscript under consideration by submitting a formal request to the Editorial Office. The manuscript should not be submitted elsewhere until ABIM has confirmed that it is no longer under consideration.

Duplicate payments, payments made in error, or cases where publication cannot proceed because of an administrative issue attributable to the journal will be reviewed by the Editorial Office on a case-by-case basis.

Withdrawal of an unpublished manuscript is different from retraction of a published article. Post-publication matters are governed by the journal's correction, expression of concern, and retraction policies.

Authors should use only the payment instructions contained in the official invoice. ABIM does not recognize payments made to unauthorized intermediaries, unofficial representatives, or accounts not identified through official journal communication.

For security and administrative reasons, bank or payment-account details are not published on this webpage. Official payment instructions are supplied directly after final acceptance.

Authors receiving a suspicious payment request should verify it with the ABIM Editorial Office before making any payment.

Authors should retain the official invoice and payment confirmation for their records. APC-related administrative correspondence should remain separate from academic editorial decision requests.
