Submissions

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

I confirm that this manuscript is original, has not been published previously, and is not currently under consideration by another journal.
I have reviewed the ABIM Aims & Scope and prepared the manuscript using the official journal template and manuscript-preparation requirements.
I have prepared two separate files for double-anonymous peer review: (1) a blinded manuscript without author-identifying information and (2) a separate title page containing complete author information and required declarations.
The manuscript is written in academic English, submitted in DOC or DOCX format, and complies with ABIM formatting requirements, including title, structured abstract, keywords, article structure, tables, figures, and references.
I confirm that the manuscript does not contain plagiarism, inappropriate text recycling, fabricated citations, or substantial unattributed material. I understand that ABIM applies a maximum overall similarity threshold of 15%, subject to editorial assessment.
I confirm that all citations and references are accurate and consistent, and that relevant ethical approval, informed consent, permissions, data transparency, and research-integrity requirements have been addressed where applicable.
I have provided all required declarations, including funding, conflicts of interest, author contributions, and Generative AI use where applicable. I understand that AI tools cannot be listed as authors or co-authors.
I have read and agree to the ABIM copyright, licensing, and Article Processing Charge policies. I understand that authors retain copyright, published articles use the CC BY 4.0 License, and any applicable APC is requested only after final acceptance. I also understand that manuscripts whose authors are exclusively affiliated with institutions outside Indonesia are eligible for a full APC waiver.

Before submitting to Advances in Business & Industrial Marketing Research (ABIM), authors must ensure that the manuscript complies with the journal's Aims & Scope, publication ethics, formatting requirements, and double-anonymous peer-review procedures.

Submission Requirements

1. Manuscripts must be written in academic English.

2. ABIM accepts the following article types:
- Research Papers
- Literature Review Papers
- Conceptual Papers

3. Manuscripts must be submitted in DOC or DOCX format using the official ABIM manuscript template.

4. For double-anonymous peer review, authors must submit:
- a blinded manuscript containing no author-identifying information; and
- a separate title page containing author names, affiliations, corresponding-author information, funding, acknowledgments, conflicts of interest, author contributions, and Generative AI declaration where applicable.

5. General manuscript formatting:
- Paper size: A4
- Layout: single column
- Font: Calisto MT, 11 pt
- Line spacing: single
- Article title: maximum 20 words
- Structured abstract: maximum 200 words
- Keywords: 5–6 keywords

6. The structured abstract should include:
- Purpose
- Research Methodology
- Results
- Research Limitations/Implications
- Originality

7. References must follow APA 7th edition. The reference list should primarily contain relevant scholarly literature published within the most recent 7 years, while older seminal or foundational sources may be used when academically justified.

8. ABIM applies a maximum overall similarity threshold of 15%. The similarity percentage is used as an editorial screening indicator and does not replace qualitative editorial assessment.

9. Authors must ensure the accuracy and authenticity of all citations and references. Fabricated, unverifiable, incorrectly attributed, or AI-hallucinated references are not acceptable.

10. Where applicable, manuscripts must report appropriate ethical approval, informed consent, permissions, research-data transparency, and other relevant research-integrity requirements.

11. Authors must disclose relevant use of Generative AI or AI-assisted technologies. AI tools cannot be listed as authors or co-authors, and authors remain fully responsible for the submitted work.

12. ABIM does not charge submission or peer-review fees. Where applicable, the Article Processing Charge is requested only after final acceptance. Manuscripts whose authors are exclusively affiliated with institutions outside Indonesia are eligible for a full APC waiver.

Authors retain copyright in articles published by Advances in Business & Industrial Marketing Research (ABIM) and grant the journal the right of first publication.

Published articles are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).

Under this license, users may copy, redistribute, remix, transform, and build upon published material for any purpose, including commercially, provided appropriate attribution is given, a link to the license is provided, and changes are indicated where applicable.

Authors remain responsible for ensuring that submitted material does not infringe copyright or other intellectual property rights and for obtaining any necessary permissions to reproduce third-party material.
